Do you need to put jumpers on this drive if it is going to be your parity drive?

 

I know that you need to put jumpers on the WD Green Drives BEFORE you put them in the array.

    The only way to really know this is to look at the drive and see if it has "Advanced Formatting" on its label.  Don't quote me on this but i think that a lot of the new WD drives that are coming out now are "Advanced Format"
