After update to version 5.0 I notice Qbittorrent behave strangely.

On previous version when i delete a torrent include the content it will remove from the download folder but now the files still remain even i've select remove content files.

The files like Tomb Raider suppose already remove while i delete the torrent but still remain inside the download folder.

The folder setting seems the same as it is.

Anyway to resolve this?

Hello all, i'm unable to access the webgui with the vpn enabled.  If I disable it, the webgui loads. Others have suggested that this is because the vpn is not connected, but if I access the container via the cli, I can ping 8.8.8.8 and using the command "curl ifconfig.me" returns the public IP of the VPN, not my public IP.  So, I dont understand.  Attached are the command execution and the supervisord.log with debug enabled.

Are you attempting to connect from the 10.1.6.0/23 network?

I assume you mean the 10.10.6.0/23 network?   Yes, my desktop PC is IP 10.10.6.7/23

Not sure then. The log looks like a successful start followed by a restart.

hi, anyone else have this? after the lastest updato tu qtorrent image. every time go to the qtorrent gui the gui setup is all messed up like this picture below, i have to reorder  the windows each time.

I’m not exactly sure what you mean by “messed up”? If you’re talking about the tab order then that’s always been the case for me. I always have to remove tabs and change the order.

 

The devs did make some changes to the default web page in this latest update though. You might try installing one of the alternate web pages and see if that resolves your issue.

with messed up i mean i have to take down one of the windows as they are on top of each other, you cant see the torrents as they are behind the window in the picture, has never been like this before. rlly dont want to mess with the docker image and install other stuff than what i get from binhex

I understand now. Yes, others have complained about this in this thread and there are also complaints on the qbit forums. Perhaps the devs will fix this soon but I really don’t know.

 

To install another webUI is fairly simple. All the alternatives on the page I linked earlier have installation instructions but most are basically the same.

1. Create a folder somewhere where the qbit app has access (I used appdata/binhex-qbittorrentvpn/) and give it a name of your choice.

2. Download the zip file for the webUI you chose.

3. Unpack the zip file to the new folder you created.

4. In the qbit app settings go to the webUI tab and check the box for “Use alternative webui”.

5. Below that box enter the container path to the new folder you created. If you created the folder in appdata/binhex-qbittorrentvpn then the path should be /config/<name of the new folder>/.

6. Restart the docker.

 

The app settings can also be adjusted in appdata/binhex-qbittorrentvpn/qBittorrent/config/qBittorrent.conf. Line 75 and line 92.

I have the same issue. Did you solve it? 

Tried searching, how to you configure qbittorentvpn with airvpn, I see it listed on edit but not sure what to do?

Ive never used AirVPN so can’t verify the instructions but they are basically the same as PIA so probably right.

Tried to setup qbittorentvpn but no matter what when click on it it takes me to the binhex sabnzb web gui?

Are you using the IP?

It said there was a conflict when clicked on install so changed the port from 8080 to 8100 as stated in the documentation, but once installed if click on the icon and select webgui of qbittorentvpn goes to sabnzbd

What if you use the IP and port number?

Nothing web tab just loads forever nothing comes up

I don’t see any problems there. Post the contents of supervisord.log from the appdata folder. You may need to redact that too.
