Didn't work unfortunately.  It does skip the login screen now, but then it just doesn't load.

Have you tried clearing the cache? Or a different browser?

  • I rolled back to tag 5.1.1-1-01 which fixed the issue for me. I guess the new update wasn't tested for wireguard connections. Edit the docker container and change "Repository" from binhex/arch-qbitt

  • FWIW, I found this method in Reddit that seemed to work for me until they fix the log bug. But note if you have qbittorrent internet facing, it's a risk.   Add this line under [Preferences]

Hello! I have been using wireguard successfully for a long time with this container, today though when the container restarted I got the following error: 2025-06-27 10:35:26,490 DEBG 'start-script'

Yes. Tried both and different computers.  Tried brave, safari and Firefox.  They all do the same thing.  Tried private browsers in them as well.

But when you disable the vpn the page loads properly? That suggests the LAN Network isn’t set correctly.

Correct, if I turn off the vpn option in the docker config, it works.

I am also having the same issue where I can't access the Web UI if the VPN is turned on on both OpenVPN and Wireguard. I tried it using local IP and accessing it using reverse proxy to no avail. It might have something to do with the Unraid 7.0 update since I only encountered the issue after the upgrade.

What worked for me is to set the LAN_NETWORK variable to the subnet of my docker network. image.thumb.png.db3960fdc03004cd2ee7cf91c663d5d8.png

With OpenVPN I can access it via IP and reverse proxy but with Wireguard I can only access it through the reverse proxy. Not 100% sure what's the cause but this works as a work around for me for the time being.

Having the same issue with the web interface, it was driving me crazy because I didn't touch the config. I don't have a reverse proxy set up so I haven't been able to test that, but I can confirm when using wireguard the web interface is no longer accessible.

Same. Cannot connect to QBittorrent Web Gui anymore this morning.. Using OVPN. I didn't touch anything since a month. Was working yesterday. I rebooted everything, same issue.

I have exactly the same issue since yesterday. Nothing has changed on my side.

Furthermore, the PIA Port forward stop working as well. (Firewalled now, orange sign). The port is good in QB but not working anymore. I'll dig a little bit more but it seems to be a generalized issue.

Weird

I tried this and it didn't help.  Further more, I had someone who is extremely talented with networking and these apps help me and he was also stumped.

To clarify, I can access through reverse proxy.  I can access without the VPN enabled, and I can access with PIA OpenVPN enabled.  But if I enable Wireguard VPN through PIA, it stops working with my local ip(Reverse Proxy still works).  This was not the behavior about a month ago.

Something was updated or changed that broke it and it wasn't my config which didnt change at all.

Edit:  I didn't look that this the last few days, just looked again and it all magically works???  Maybe PIA changed something and then fixed it?

Usually that's a sign your vpn provider has rotated credentials and you need to grab new config files.

Or just a problem with the server.

Try connecting to a different PIA server.

Woke up to a couple torrents downloading very slowly, all had seeds so should be working fine. Rebooted container and speeds shot up to what my max is. A few minutes later it's dropped back down and seems to be fluctuating. Anyone else experiencing this? Using PIA with Wireguard, Toronto endpoint.

I've had this issue for some time.  I feel like pia is throttling so i have up and disabled vpn and I've tried different CA endpoints

how was the issue regarding inaccessible WebUI resolved?

I have recently upgraded to Unraid v7, it was working at first and then I have the same problem now. As soon as I set VPN_ENABLED to no I can access the WebUI. I am using ProtonVPN with Wireguard.

I downgraded back to 6.12.15, deleted template xml files and appdata folders. Still cannot access WebUI.

I would love some-what of a sanity check for my qbitvpn setup. I'm running binhex-qbitvpn 5.0.3 with a ProtonVPN wiregaurd config that, in theory, seems to be working. My supervisord.log does not show any errors and shows Proton setting a port. However, the port and IP that qbit is reporting does not match up with the wg0 file, plus the IP/port it is showing is not showing as accessible through online checking tools. I am also noticing that despite many peers being shown most files never seed and some only seed a small portion.

I feel like there is an issue but I may just not fully understand how all these systems interact. I'm relatively new to this world, so please let me know what other information I can provide to help diagnose this problem.

About the issue I reported earlier regarding inaccessible WebUI, I created several new containers from scratch, with new wireguard *.confs from ProtonVPN everytime. Some failed in the same way but somehow the last one started working, I guess it has something to do with ProtonVPN.

Aside from that being resolved, I realized I cannot access the qBittorrent WebUI from my macbook anymore.

I think you are saying you can’t access just from this one machine. I suspect it isn’t connected to the same LAN network. Perhaps the MacBook is connected to a guest WiFi network?

OK this is indeed a strange problem. Both Win and MacOS computers are on the same network, Win can access all containers as expected while MacOS can only access Plex and Chromium (it can't access a 2nd Chromium instance and binhex's qbittorrent containers). Google searches showed others also experienced a similar issue after updating MacOS to Sequoia (v15) and the possible solution did not work for me - as I am already able to access some of my local ips. I am still on it, will update if I find a solution, but at the moment it's not related to binhex and his repo.

I want to migrate from Deluge to qBittorent.
I applied the same configuration between both dockers, but on qBittorent, the upload speed is very very slow: I downloaded ubuntu 24.04.0 desktop to test, the speed is between 1b and 80KIB/s maximum.
Is this a known issue? Does anyone know how to unbridle the upload speed?
Thanks

Without any info regarding your configuration it’s hard to offer advice but not using a port forwarding server can have a bad effect on speeds. Just a wild guess though.
