[Upgrade Help] Changing parity disks from 8 tb to 12 tb

Hello,

 

first of all some information about my setup:

 

2* 8 tb seagate ironwolf parity drives model ST8000VN0022

Controller: Dell Perc H310 SATA / SAS HBA Controller RAID 6Gbps PCIe x8 LSI 9240-8i M1015 flashed in IT mode ( the drivers are compatible Link HGST webcache )

Running Unraid Pro 6.6.2

 

I want to upgrade the 2 parity drives to 12 tb HGST / WD - Ultrastar DC HC520 (He12) without Power Disable Feature

 

What i am uncleared about is the model number to get:

 

1. HUH721212ALE604 - 12 tb 7200 rpm sata 512e SE ( secure erase)

2. HUH721212ALE600 - 12 tb 7200 rpm sata 512e ISE ( instant secure erase)

3. HUH721212ALN600 - 12 tb 7200 rpm sata 4Kn ISE ( instant secure erase)

 

I am leaning towards number 1  but i am intereset to know your input / experience regarding this models in Unraid

    I have no personal experience of any of them but FWIW Unraid supports both 512e and 4Kn disks.
