OK, so Disk2 is being rebuilt now.........😊

Done, no error apparently

 

And I did a backup of the flash.....

 

Now, i will have to take care of the disks in reiserfs !

Just about done. Looks like there is enough space on the empty disk2 to copy all the files from disk1 and disk3 so you can reformat them to XFS.

With the unBALANCE plugin, right?

I'm trying to move the content of Disk 3 to Disk 1 with unBalance plugin, to be able to format Disk 3 in xfs 

( I just did the same for Disk1 to Disk 2 this night to format Disk1 in xfs, and it went well)

 

 

But when I click on "Plan", nothing seems to happen......Other than the icon on the top right corner (color stripes) is "pumping"

Am I doing something wrong?

Does it has something to do with the folder "system"?

Normally system is on cache. Do you have a cache drive? Your latest reply is nearly a month later and I haven't reviewed the thread.

 

You might have to go to the support thread for Unbalance. I don't use it.

No cache yet, but planning to add 1 (or 2 for a cache pool)

I watched Space Invader tutorial, very instructive (by the way, I've posted on the forum about using the Inland Pro from Microcenter - Is it an OK SSD or should I avoid it. Also, not sure if I should go with 2 x 240GB or 2 x 480GB though)

 

About unBalance, I tried again but this time from Disk3 to Disk2, and it seems to work "normally". It's copying now.......Will see what I get when completed (hoping no error message 🙄)

 

 

Typically you will have to disable docker service (Settings - Docker) and disable VM service (Settings - VM Manager) in order to move system since you can't move open files.

Yeah, it's what I saw on Space Invader's video..

However, I'm not running any VM nor have any docker

Does it change something?

Not a question of whether or not you actually have any dockers or VMs. Do you have the docker or VM services enabled?

OK, I've installed my 2 x SSD (480GB each) as a cache pool, following SpaceInvader's video.....Looks like everything went well

Is there anything to do/setup (Trim?) since it's SSD?

Yesterday, the "Fix common common" plugin mentioned the Dynamix Trim plugin not being installed

So I installed it, but I'm not sure how to configure it....For now, I've selected "Daily", at midnight

Is it OK?

How long a Trim operation usually takes?
