4 SATA ports plus one PCIe x1 slot means that this motherboard works well as the base for a 6 drive server.  Also pairs well with the Sempron 140.

 

I can confirm that this motherboard is fully compatible with unRAID despite the nForce 430.  It passes Level 1.

 

I've found that miniITX boards like this one are nice even if you aren't using a miniITX case.  My latest 6 drive miniBox prototype (which I keep forgetting to photograph and upload here) is built in a microATX case, but the 3-in-2s are so long that I had to use this miniITX board instead of a MicroATX board.
