I can't seem to get the drives to passthrough the controller. The controller itself seems to have renamed my drives and it can no longer start. How do I find the proper drive order. JorgeB Posted November 20, 2018 Share Posted November 20, 2018 RAID controllers are not recommended, if you want to use it like that you'll need to do a new config and reassign all the disks, and if the controller needs to "initialize" the disks it might truncate the partitions, and you'll have the same problem if you replace it with a different controller in the future, use a plain HBA instead, preferably an LSI.
