[REDACTED] ZOTAC NF610I-K-E miniITX motherboard - $29.99 after MIR

Featured Replies

Nevermind, this board doesn't have gigabit LAN.

ZOTAC NF610I-K-E LGA 775 NVIDIA GeForce 7050 NVIDIA nForce 610i Mini ITX Intel Motherboard

$39.99, $29.99 after MIR (Expires on 9/22/10).

4 SATA ports plus one PCIe x1 slot, should work well with up to 6 drives.  Pair it with the Celeron 430 for a low power server.

I haven't personally tested this motherboard, but the nForce 610i should be fully compatible with unRAID.

I have been looking at this for an Unraid testing setup (as I have a 775 CPU I am not using) but I can't find any decent NAS Mini ITX cases. Any suggestions?

I agree, that is one of the best.  There are plenty of options if you don't mind internal drives.  There aren't many if you want external drives.

From the Newegg comments:

Cons: -could not get to boot from USB flash drive. No option to set it as a bootable device or use it as a one-time boot device. However, it does work with a USB optical drive.

        -no gigabit ethernet.

The on-board video output is not sharp and crisp (kind of blurry)

Wow, you are correct, I redact this deal.  The lack of gigabit LAN kills it.  The AMD version of this board has it so I just assumed that this one did as well.  I should have been more careful, thanks for catching that.
