just as the title says, I moved files to my disk and the writes count on the parity and the target disk is not the same, does this mean that the parity is now invalid ?

No, those numbers are mostly meaningless, sometimes there's a huge different for the same read or write activity.

I find toggling the display to show read and write speeds is more useful than the cumulative read and write counts.

I don't always look at them, but as far as I remember they seem to be matched when I look at them, but I could be wrong !
