btrfs Array V6.6.3 Drive unmountable: no filesystem

Featured Replies

After a reboot with a stuck shutdown process. when the system started backup Disk1 is unmountable: no file system and the rebuild/resync ran..

Can the data be saved? whats the next step? The array is BTRFS and  i have had problems before i'm thinking of reformatting to XFS?

Attached is the latests Diag but after it rebooted..

Thanks for any info/Help?

Thanks.. can the restore be back to the Array or to other drive? Any incite as to why this happen? System stalls and only option to to reboot. (This is not the first time this has happen but the worst) and before reboot I have let the system sit over night.

Either.

Likely the result of an unclean shutdown, if using btrfs you should use DUP metadata, this is the default with btrfs, just not with Unraid, but it should be, though I can't say for sure it would help in this case, but if you intend to continue using btrfs convert all disks to DUP metadata:

btrfs balance start -mconvert=dup /mnt/diskX
