Lost All Access To My Server

Featured Replies

Hi. I'm relatively new to UnRaid and its community here. I've used the resources here to setup my server (VERY basic; just wanted it as data storage). It was working just fine, until my internet cut out for 5 minutes the other day. Since then I haven't been able to access it at all. My web browsers (Firefox and I even tried Edge) and my shortcuts are crossed out. I did shut it down (retrospect, probably a big mistake) and it rebooted just fine, but my IP address changed from a 192.168.x.x to a weird (to me) 169.254.70.52 and I haven't been able to get into it.

Any help will be appreciated.

That 169 IP means it isn't getting DHCP from your router. Do you have an attached monitor and keyboard?

yes, I do.

Edit: Oh I see! Didn't realize my router stopped working properly! Sorry for the trouble.
