secure wipe non array drive?

My unraid drives are all in a SAS enclosure. I have a few SAS drives I would like to wipe but do NOT want to add to my array. The SAS enclosure is my only way to use the SAS drives. Is there a way I can add a drive and secure wipe it without adding to the array? Thank you.

    You could install the preclear plugin and run one or more preclear cycles on it.  The plugin works only on unassigned drives which is what I think you are looking for.
