Disk 5 disabled...

Featured Replies

Hi after upgrading RAM 16 - 32GB

i accidently startet the array with one disk missing...

Now i think i have plugged everything back to normal.

Still unraid says, disk 5 disabled.

But how to enable it? :D

Edit:
in an old post i found a solution via rebuilding all disks, is this really neccessary? is there no "smart" way.

No, you just need to rebuild the disable disk, and it's usually the recommended way, you could do a new config and trust parity if you're sure noting was written to that disk after it got disabled, but would also need to run a correcting parity check after since a few sync errors are always expected.

Thanks. Only on that disk, okay, whats the recommended way to do so?

Since i have all automated i cant be 100% sure nothing got added.

ah ok, that was what i found but wasnt sure if its the correct way these days.

Is it normal that CPU is 100%? Dont think the last paritys was like that.

Seems a little high if the server isn't doing anything else.
