I was suggesting USB2. I doubt any UPS needs or uses USB3 since there isn't much data there.

Appreciate the suggestion.

There's also multiple types of Cables that you can select in UPS settings that may (or may not) help you.

I've tried them all, and all I get is "Lost Connection". I did a fare amount of research before buying a UPS to make sure I got one that people have used and works with Unraid, and almost all users who bought Cyberpower UPS' in general have "USB Cable" and "USB Type" set to "USB" and it works just fine.

I did do a little digging over the weekend and noticed that the UPS doesn't show up in the System Devices area under USB Devices. Should it? Can I plug anything into it and have it detected or are only certain devices detected? Also, is it labeling the USB as 1.1? My system isn't that old... I'm wondering if Unraid is incorrectly detecting the USB ports on the system.

For comparison, this is what I have

USB Devices

Bus 001 Device 001:	ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
Bus 001 Device 002:	ID 8087:8008 Intel Corp.
Bus 002 Device 001:	ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
Bus 002 Device 002:	ID 8087:8000 Intel Corp.
Bus 003 Device 001:	ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
Bus 003 Device 002:	ID 0764:0501 Cyber Power System, Inc. CP1500 AVR UPS
Bus 003 Device 004:	ID 0781:5571 SanDisk Corp. Cruzer Fit
Bus 004 Device 001:	ID 1d6b:0003 Linux Foundation 3.0 root hub
Bus 004 Device 002:	ID 174c:55aa ASMedia Technology Inc. ASM1051E SATA 6Gb/s bridge, ASM1053E SATA 6Gb/s bridge, ASM1153 SATA 3Gb/s bridge

Even though that page reports it as CP1500 AVR the UPS Settings page reports it as AVRG900U, which is correct.

But I don't have anything showing as USB1.1 as you can see. Maybe there is something in your BIOS settings.

I have the same UPS and haven't had issues with it being detected.

I did have an issue getting the server and UPS to shutdown properly so the server would power back on after an outage, but I was able to resolve that by tweaking settings in the NUT plugin. Sharing a post I made about that below in hopes that someone will get use out of it.
