Hi, im just starting at this. I just build my Unraid and get it to Boot from the USB drive (not the preconfigured one)

 

Now i wanna preclear the disk but i have a question. How can i see a list of all the HDD phisically attached to my server? So i can get the XXX to determinate wich one is gonna be precleared.

Check your system log. Unmenu also shows the assigned drive letter.

From the console or telnet:

 

ls -l /dev/disk/by-id

 

This will list each drive and what port (sda, sdb, sdc, etc.) it is attached to.
