Parity-Check and Hard Drive problem

Hello

after alot of buffering when i watched somethings from my system,

i started Parity-Check, that is very very slowly, and it seems that one HardDrive have error

you can see the estimate time  - 26 days (now its 65 days), and the HD 4, with alot of errors.

 

what i need to do?

Please post the diagnostics: Tools - > Diagnostics

which file from the zip?

Looks like a failing SATA cable, replace it and try again.

Also, make sure notifications are enable, you'd be getting warnings about CRC errors.

johnnie black - you saved me money, i almost run to buy new HD.

 

can i know how you analyze it that you suspect that this is the problem?

btw, all my HD have this error all the time, with diffrent values,

 199UDMA CRC error count

and the parity disk have also this: 187Reported uncorrect

what is means? what i need to do with this

Attribute 199 means a bad connection, 9 times out of 10 it's a bad SATA cable, disk4 has thousands of CRC errors, and at least some are recent.

 

Parity is showing a past read error, run a parity check and if no more read errors for now it's fine, but keep an eye on it.

so the parity check finished, still having the errors in the SMART status section

what is the problem? what i need to do?

Those SMART attributes don't reset, you can acknowledge current values.

Check went fine, no disk or sync errors.
