Squid
You can use the Krusader App and move the files from /media/disk3/Media to /media/disk1/Media (do NOT use /media/user to accomplish this. Data loss will result) * you will have to change the default on Krusader's template for the /media folder to be /mnt instead of /mnt/user Quote Link to comment
codo1234
another option to Krusader? can i move it manually? Quote Link to comment
Squid
Midnight Commander (mc at command prompt), manual bash commands. Alternatively, over the network, "Cut" the appropriate folders, move them to your desktop, then move them back to the array. Quote Link to comment
trurl
But whatever method you use, don't mix disks and user shares when managing your files. Don't copy/move from a user share to a disk, or from a disk to a user share. Quote Link to comment
codo1234
ok, so if i use the option of "cut" from network, from windows OS, i cut it from the folders from the disk3, direct to where? i cant move it to direct to the "Media" share, so how i do it? Quote Link to comment
Squid
Over the network, you can just "Cut" the folders from the Media share (you already know which ones are on disk 3) and paste them onto your desktop. The cut and paste them back to the Media share. Or, under Global Share Settings, enable disk shares, then cut and paste from Disk 3 to Disk1, 2 or 4 Quote Link to comment
