USB Drive died

Featured Replies

So my boot drive died and I lost all my configs along with it. How do I proceed with restoring the array?

I have 4 drives in total, 2x 4TB HDD, one 1TB HDD and a 120gb SSD Cache. I'm pretty positive on which one was setup as parity, but I'm not 100% on the order on the other two drives.

Also, all my drives except the cache drive are encrypted. Does that complicate things?

I created a new usb boot device and booted up the server, and all my disks are there. What's my next step? Is it safe to start the array in the order i'm somewhat sure about?

I'm new to unraid, this community and homeservers in general, so please be gentle! :)

The safest thing to do is not assign parity.until you can verify you have the others right.

For future reference you can download a zipped backup of flash at Main - Boot Device - Flash - Flash Backup.
