System share (docker & libvert) set to prefer cache, but not on cache?

Featured Replies

Hi all, I noticed an odd issue here -- I saw it under the free size on my shares page, I noticed my system page was reporting the free space on my array, instead of on my cache.

After checking /mnt/cache/system/docker/ the docker.img file is not there, and neither is the libvert stuff either.

How can I actually go about safely getting this moved over to use the cache, especially the docker image file, its 25GB for me now (I added 5GB because I kept getting warnings of it being almost full every so often).

Hoping to have a safe way of getting this moved rather than recreating the docker.img file (even though I know that's not too bad).

Thanks in advance!

Shutdown both services and run the mover.

Thanks - that was what I was missing was stopping docker and VM services first.

After invoking mover and starting them, VMs came back up but docker was stuck at "starting services" and the log stopped loading too for me, weird, but a reboot solved that and I'm back :)

Thanks for the speedy reply, appreciate it.
