Unraid in Ikea cabinet to Rack Mount Server

Hello

I built my Unraid server in $40 Ikea cabinet , it is my media power house, but for some reason beside installing multiple fans in Ikea cabinet,  my CPU and HDD's temperature would go high, specially streaming 4 K media I could hear CPU FAN going crazy.  I think because of High temperature 2 of my HDD failed during couple of years.

Recently I decided to put my UNRAID server in basement , and I purchased ARK 4U-500-CA Black 4U Rackmount Case. Boy that was the best decision , I see temperature of HDD do not cross 29 Celsius and CPU temperature under 50 Celsius.

I also want to add, Unraid is the best NAS solution hands down. I tried Synology DS918+  and that was a disaster.I configured Raid 5 on it, and boy there is no way that thing can transcode 4 K Media, even 1080p with DTS HD the CPU will go 100% and the whole system would choke . I think box solution for NAS is for those who just want a raid and don't want to touch it again.

My setup cost 30% less  ( I have added video for my unraid )
