wisem2540
Hey guys, I know the goal with unraid is to always use a single 12v rail when possible. However, I found this redundant PSU with what looks like 2x 19A rails per module. Obviously, I would expect one module to carry the load in the event of a failure. My current system only has 10 drives in it. Ill be moving to a Norco 4220. While I may never hit the 20 drive mark with hard drives increasing in size so quickly, I want the ability to do so. Right now I am running 10 drives on a 400w 25A PSU with no problems. Below is a link to one of the modules. Will this work or is it not worth the hassle? http://athenapower.com/node/246 Edited December 11, 2018 by wisem2540 Quote Link to comment
Vr2Io
I will vote UPS first, if current build was 400w fine, in fact add 10 more drive won't cause huge power raise. Quote Link to comment
