DavidInDE
Hello, and firstly let me apologize if this question has been asked and answered elsewhere (I am sure it has, but a brief search didn't come up with anything). I am just starting out with UnRAID, and I was wondering what the recommended way of transferring (in my case) 18TB of data to a new array would be? I have 4 4TB USB drives, and a 2TB USB drive, all of them full or nearly full. My initial idea was to use Unassigned Devices to hook the drives up as shares outside the array, and then to use Krusader to copy the data across to the array, but I stand/sit to be corrected! Thanks to anyone in advance... Quote Link to comment
trurl
That seems a good plan. Don't even think about caching the initial load, and you might consider waiting until done to assign a parity disk. 1 Quote Link to comment
