Logitech Unifying Receiver Problems

Featured Replies

Although I am new to unRAID and VMs, I have a big machine with a brand new Intel Coffee Lake processor and 32 GB RAM.  I built a Windows 10 Pro VM with a USB 3 card passed thru and an EVGA 1070 passed thru.  Almost everything is working fine. The Logitech Unifying Receiver for my wireless mouse and keyboard is plugged into the 4 Port USB 3 card that is passed thru.  Plug and play is working just fine on the card.  I plug in a flash drive and it is instantly recognized.  My bluetooth dongle works perfectly as do a wired keyboard and mouse.  The Logitech Unifying Receiver was recognized and installed fine.  I installed the Logitech Unifying Software and the mouse and keyboard (both Logitech) paired no problem at all.  However, they run so slowly and laggy that they are useless.

Did I miss a step somewhere?

Below are my IOMMU Groups: (It is 13 that is passed thru)

Those are USB 3 interference 2.4G issue.

You can minimize the problem by a extend cable with RF chock.

Thanks for the response! Do you think it is the Logitech Unifyer Receiver or the Bluetooth dongle?

This is for Logitech Unifying receiver.

Thanks!!!!  Ordered a cable with choke.  Try that next.

That was it!  How in the world did you know that.  I have used Logitech Unifying Receivers for over 5 years with no problems whatsoever until this.  Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Because I suffer this problem too, I also use several yrs without problem. Believe or not I can't found any solution on internet, just think myself and try out for fix.

Could either of you point me towards a cable you're using? Somehow I'm not having any success finding one (only USB A to B, not USB A male to female), and I think I'm having the same issue as you.

I used the basic usb extender that comes with some Logitech devices and it also worked. I coiled it so it only moved the USB receiver maybe three inches. It also doesn't have the choke. But for some unknown reason it does the job.

Use extend cable make away from the port also can minimize the interference, but with RF chock would have lot better result.

The chokes are cheap.  If Amazon delivers to your area, my links above get you the parts I bought and it worked perfectly.

I got a 3-meter extension plus some chokes, and it's working great! now on to the next problem :)
