Is Turbowrite properly working?

Featured Replies

Hi!

So i started my "production" server and im using the CA Auto Turbo Write Mode plugin and it says that its using Turbo (Reconstruct Write) but it does not "feel" like it.

Im using 3 4TB WD Red Drives(2 Drives, 1 Parity) which are capable of writing with 100mbs, also i do have a 500Gb Cache Drive (which doesnt matter in Reconstruct Write, i know) but im "only" getting 65mb/s per second.

Many people wrote, that they got the double speed or even more but im getting just a plus of 20mbs or so.

I can see that it seems like its working, but it doesnt feel like it.

i copying big files, not many small files (mkvs and stuff). also im able to write with 100mbs directly to my cachedrive so my network is properly working.

am i doing something wrong?

To confirm post a screenshot of the main page with current speed toggle enable or grab and post the diagnostics during a copy.

oh! i havent seen this function yet.

it seems like it IS reaching maximum speed but its kinda fuzzy.

its not stable, sometime it drops to zero or to a few kb/s

but i've seen values over 100mb/s
