LSI / Broadcom SAS3416 Supported?

Recommended Posts

Hello dear Unraid Community,
I could not find anything for this. I turn now to you

I would like to install the current Broadcom HBA 9400-16i in my server.
seem to be an LSI SAS3416 chipset.

I couldn't find anything comparable on the compatibility list.
Does anyone have the card in use or can give general information if it works out of the box?

(I have currently unraid 6.6.5)

It does. And it works fine, on that server, in Windows 2012r2.

This is from 'lspci' command in your diags.  No hint of that controller.  Sorry I don't know what could be wrong.

I moved it to another slot and unraid can see and use the card now.  Strange that it shows up in another OS, but not unraid.
