#Tobias
Hello dear Unraid Community, I could not find anything for this. I turn now to you I would like to install the current Broadcom HBA 9400-16i in my server. seem to be an LSI SAS3416 chipset. I couldn't find anything comparable on the compatibility list. Does anyone have the card in use or can give general information if it works out of the box? (I have currently unraid 6.6.5) Edited December 24, 2018 by #Tobias Quote Link to comment

Tools/System Devices does not show it, which means invisible to Linux. Quote Link to comment

No hint of that controller. StevenD
I moved it to another slot and unraid can see and use the card now. Strange that it shows up in another OS, but not unraid. 02:00.0 Serial Attached SCSI controller [0107]: Broadcom / LSI SAS3416 Fusion-MPT Tri-Mode I/O Controller Chip (IOC) [1000:00ac] (rev 01) Subsystem: Broadcom / LSI SAS3416 Fusion-MPT Tri-Mode I/O Controller Chip (IOC) [1000:3000] Kernel driver in use: mpt3sas Kernel modules: mpt3sas Jun 25 18:47:56 Tower kernel: mpt3sas_cm0: _base_display_fwpkg_version: complete Jun 25 18:47:56 Tower kernel: mpt3sas_cm0: FW Package Version(11.00.00.00) Jun 25 18:47:56 Tower kernel: mpt3sas_cm0: SAS3416: FWVersion(11.00.00.00), ChipRevision(0x01), BiosVersion(09.07.00.00) Jun 25 18:47:56 Tower kernel: NVMe Jun 25 18:47:56 Tower kernel: mpt3sas_cm0: Protocol=( Jun 25 18:47:56 Tower kernel: Initiator Jun 25 18:47:56 Tower kernel: ,Target Jun 25 18:47:56 Tower kernel: ), Jun 25 18:47:56 Tower kernel: Capabilities=( Jun 25 18:47:56 Tower kernel: TLR Jun 25 18:47:56 Tower kernel: ,EEDP Jun 25 18:47:56 Tower kernel: ,Diag Trace Buffer Jun 25 18:47:56 Tower kernel: ,Task Set Full Jun 25 18:47:56 Tower kernel: ,NCQ Jun 25 18:47:56 Tower kernel: ) Jun 25 18:47:56 Tower kernel: scsi host7: Fusion MPT SAS Host Jun 25 18:47:56 Tower kernel: mpt3sas_cm0: sending port enable !!
