December 17, 20187 yr Hello, thanks for any help given in advance I'm currently running into an issue with my Hackintosh VM on my system When using the system I notice it will freeze, so I opened my UnRaid console on my phone and I see a single thread with very high useage. I believe this is causing the VM to freeze, and the only thing I can think to do is to just force stop the VM and start it up again. You can see below the issue, I've noticed this on CPU thread 2 and just a few minutes ago on 5 I've attached a Diagnostics from UnRaid and here is the XML for my VM <?xml version='1.0' December 17, 20187 yr So unfortunately we at Lime Tech can't really help with anything related to a Mac OS VM. It's not an officially supported VM type as Apple's EULA doesn't allow for this unless its on their hardware which in this case, it is not. Second, there is nothing in your logs or diagnostics to point to a problem. Libvirt logs and system logs both look clean to me. Your problem very well could be related to the fact that you are using a Gigabyte motherboard. We have seen thread after thread in these forums with problems relating to hangups, freezes, and crashes and the common denominator in many of them is the use of Gigabyte hardware. I just don't think Gigabyte tests their hardware with VM setups nearly as well as other manufacturers. If you can switch the motherboard to SuperMicro, ASRock, or even Asus, I would be curious if you had the same issues.

Jonp, thanks for the input, I've created a new MacOS VM from the new video posted by out one and only Spaceinvader One and will see if this VM will replicate the issue, if so we'll try a new Mobo.
