luminus Posted December 17, 2018 Share Posted December 17, 2018 I have had my server for a while now. After upgrading to Win10 I have been having trouble finding my Unraid shares. I can login via the webgui as well as finding it in the //IP address. but none of the times I tried \\ip address to get to my shares have been successful. I have tried restarting the array, switching the shares to public, and creating a new share to see if that helps. Quote Link to comment
itimpi Posted December 17, 2018 Share Posted December 17, 2018 This is a Windows problem as Microsoft have crippled network discovery in recent Windows 10 releases. The easiest thing is to simply use the IP address. There are things you can do at the Windows end to resolve this as discussed in the pinned topic in this sib-forum. Quote Link to comment
