static IP and hostname

hi all

on Unraid if you set a static IP on the server itself then any way of getting hostname working again? as you can no longer use http://tower to connect to web ui.

reason I set it on unraid rather then router is I am using pfsense which wont let you assign static IP from DHCP pool and I dont want to assign unraid a range outside of this to make life easier when connecting to unraid over VPN.

    IIRC tower.domain.tld should work using whatever domain you have assigned in pfsense. Might be wrong. It’s been a while since I used anything other than the IP.
