December 18, 20187 yr Community Expert Open up the Terminal (In the GUI) and type ping 8.8.8.8 You should get back ping times from that server. If not, you most likely have a DNS issue. You can assign the DNS server addresses on the Settings >>> Network Settings You can use the 'Help' button to display information on the various settings.

December 19, 20187 yr Author The system has no problems with ping 8.8.8.8 (the apps download works just fine). I have tried 3 different browsers (two of them stock without any plugins)...
December 20, 20187 yr Community Expert How large is your flash drive? You can do a manual upgrade by simply downloading the latest release and replacing all the bz* files in the top level of flash with those from the download.
December 22, 20187 yr Author The Flashdrive has 32gb so the hardware should not be the problem. I will test the manual upgrade.
