New drive won't encrypt in array. Need help

Featured Replies

I currently have 5 drives all encrypted in array. Added new drive and it adds unencrypted.

  -I shut down array.

-Removed drive from array and started array.

-Deleted partition

- stopped array and added drive back and restarted

- drive still adding unencrypted xfs.

Redid procedure but this time tried to format drive outside of array as encrypted.   Did not get xfs-encrypted as an option.

Started array last night and let it parity check rebuild and drive this am is still not encrypted.

Settings -> drives is set to default xfs-encrypted

I am on 6.6.5.   Please help.   Thanks!

After adding the drive to the array, stop it, click on that disk and change the fs to xfs encrypted, start the array and format that disk.
