Server just shut down

Yesterday while watching a movie streaming from my server, it just shut down. 

Found this in the log: "Tower nginx: 2018/12/23 19:07:37 [error] 5467#5467: nchan: A message from the past has just been published. Unless the system time has been adjusted, this should never happen."

 

I adjusted to use NTP server to no and restarted. So far all good. 

 

Just wondering what could have caused this crash.
