SMB and share don't work

Featured Replies

Update to the new version 6.6.6 and from one moment to another, the list of shares disappeared, I try to add a new element and it does not allow me to do it; but in the boot/config/shares all the shared elements appear. Please help me

@pablo sanchez

I copied this "report" to General Support. "Report" is for reporting possible issues to the Unraid developers, not for getting help.

What version did you update from?

Have you tried clearing your browser cache and disabling your adblocker?

Have you tried booting in SAFE mode?

Thanks for your help, I solved the problem in tools/newPerms, click on disks / all / start and everything goes back to normal

Going forward, don't do that.  Running the new perms tool where it can affect the permissions within the appdata share *may* have undesired effects on applications (mostly it won't, but it has had averse effects for some users).  Hence why if you have Fix Common Problems installed there is a "docker safe new permissions tool" on the Tools menu which does the same thing but specifically excludes the appdata share)

That doesn't really sound like a solution to the problem you were having:

So if doing New Perms seems to have fixed it then it probably was just a coincidence and something else happened like a browser refresh.
