reset fan control settings

Featured Replies

So, ive changed my mb some time ago.

setup auto fan control via plugin... and thought all is working ok...

but it seems the "array fan" is not really the array fan, its the cpu fan...

so it changed the cpu fan accordingly to the hdd temperatures... (which is fail).

Ive disabled now this plugin in the hope unraid or linux will take over the pwm features for the cpu cooler, but its just sitting at 2000-3000 rpm, temperature doenst change anything.

How to reset all fan control related settings? I tried multiple runs of pmwconfig and autocontrol detect and such things, can i start from scratch?

If all these fail, can i redirect temps from hdds to a VM?

Edit here you find mor einfos about what i was tryin:

 (like 6. or 7. post)

Too clarify my problem:

1.) CPU Fan doesnt auto regulate it self

2.) CPU Fan gets shown as array fan (but i dont know if thats a problem)

3.) Array fan (CHA FAN) doenst get detectet

4.) If i put it from the 4 pin (CHA FAN) to 3 pin PWR fan, also nothing gets detectet

Now i think maybe i can start from scratch, but dont know where to start.
