Swapping a IT controller, any issues?

Im pretty sure the answer will be no issue but just want to verify.

 

Anyone know if swapping the IT mode controller would be an issue for a all ready configured unraid system (would not be same model of course) ?

    Shouldn't be an issue. I swapped out AOC-SASLP-MV8 for H310 without issue.

    No issues with LSI IT mode, there can be (and likely will be) issues with LSI RAID mode.

    Cool thanks , Yea I figured since the controller is in IT mode it's basiclly a generic controller vs being in IR mode and the software handles the dirty work
