I'm currently using a setup without a cache disk, but I can see that my parity drive and my download drive keeps spinning up, even thought sabnzbd is not downloading.

I was wondering if any of you guys succeded in using sabnzbd without the drives keep spinning up when it's idle - and if so, how do your setup in sabnzbd folders menu look like.

    Two things in Sab make you drives spin up: RSS checking and black hole.

     

    Check the interval for RSS and disable the black hole feature if you want to prevent spin ups.
