January 3, 20197 yr I have discovered that my Cache drive has started to making unhealthy noises and I am concern about this and I am thinking about moving my Cache to a M.2 PCIE extension card. can anyone inform me if this is a good ideal, and if Unraid will see the new storage ?
January 3, 20197 yr I don't know why unRAID wouldn't see an m.2 card. Others have nvme drives working fine. So, it shouldn't be an issue.

January 3, 20197 yr SMART for cache looks OK and nothing in syslog about it. Are you sure it is the source of the noise? Fans often begin to have noise problems.
