January 4, 20197 yr I have a Dell R510 with 8 external hot-swap drives, and 2 internal drives. I want to use it in a 1 x parity, 7 storage disks, 2 x cache drives... So am i right to assume that the Tier 2 Plus licence will do the trick? Its just that, while i am guessing that this calculator is unofficial (http://unraid.category5.tv/) its telling me that i need a pro licence.. Edited January 4, 20197 yr by SmurfKiller

Actually, did the drive limit increase recently? wasn't it 8 before?

You could have 1 data drive and 11 cache drives in a pool, 12 data drives with no parity, 1 data drive and 11 unassigned that you could mount and work with manually or with the Unassigned Devices plugin. It's been some time, I wouldn't call it recent. However, in the context of unraid version releases and the definition of soon™, I suppose it's recent. 🙂
