binaryatlas
I have been looking at several builds centering around running sophos xg home firewall and freenas. I got a quote from server monkey and keep bouncing back and forth about just doing a small box for the firewall and buying a nas like Synology. I ran into this and was hoping someone might clarify why this is better than say proxmox or esxi. Here is a breakdown of the server. whipdancer
It's not better or worse, it's just a different way to solve the problem. I don't want to run an esxi server (or really anything like that) at home - so I use Unraid. Quote Link to comment
