X399 Motherboard recommendation.

Featured Replies

I returning my Asrock x399 taichi motherboard as it has issues with my HBA cards (BAD DLLP ).

What motherboard is currently recommended that will work with ECC memory and Dell Perc H310 HBA cards?

#_# I tried putting warnings up about that one on reddit and here.. Zenith is the only one confirmed to work with an LSI9201 that I have. I loved my Taichi btw as it booted perfectly with my ram at the proper speeds. Buckle up buckaroo for the Zenith cause its the most customizable but they did something to it for the thread ripper 2 updates that makes it not able to run ram as fast. Hope others chime in as well but I've not read of others running hbas on other boards.

Hi

Thinking of making a new setup and run 3 WM's with GPU and USB passthrough. Was anyone done this on a x399 board ?

I'm running the Taichi with a lenovo 530-8i (LSI9440) and it works perfect (leaving out all the hassle to get that card into IT mode).

I have a x399 taichi and have a 4 GPU gaming rig setup with GPU/USB passthrough.  Works pretty well.....

I wanted to follow up on this. I replace my board with X399 DESIGNARE EX rev 1. and the HBA cards are working.

Are you using the onboard SATA controller ? I'm having problem with disk errors when I enable AMD-V with bios F11
