(SOLVED) WebUI Stopped Working in Windows 10

Featured Replies

Hi, I looked around at various WebUI threads and Windows threads but haven't been able to figure this out. I see a lot of issues with shares and Windows but usually, the WebUI at least works.

I had everything up and running for a few weeks on UnRaid 6.6.6. Went out of town and shut everything down and now I cannot access the WebUI (via IP or http://tower) from windows. It worked initially when I got home, but I quickly ran into issues where it would lose connection to the server for a minute, and then it would reconnect. After a few minutes it disconnected entirely and now it will not connect, despite multiple restarts on both machines. I get the "This Site Cannot be Reached - ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED" message in Chrome.

It does work on my mac devices as long as I manually specify port 80 and I can connect to the server WebGUI without issue. I can also ping the server successfully from windows.

Other Things I've Tried:

  • Reset user accounts and passwords
  • Disabled Docker
  • Changed port to 8080 temporarily but still did not work
  • Ran the "Fix Common Problems" & "Tips and Tweaks" plugins and did not find any issues.

Attached the diagnostics zip file below. I appreciate any help or suggestions you can provide. Thanks!

I don't understand this bit. Why would you try http://local? Are you trying to do this from a separate Windows machine or is this a Windows VM you're talking about?

Are all these computers on the same subnet?

Have you tried restarting your router?    This sounds like a network related issue of some sort.

My bad, I meant to say http://tower. I am trying to connect to my UnRaid machine from a separate windows machine.

Just restarted the router to give it a shot and it is still not working. I restarted the UnRaid machine and I can still log-in to the WebGUI, connect to other websites in the browser, and ping it from other machines, but none of my other devices (including the macs from earlier) can connect to it. Sometimes in the browser, it says that it took too long to respond but mostly getting "connection refused".

They are now. I didn't think to check before. While I was trying to find this information on my mac devices, things magically started working again. My mac devices can connect again as well as my windows machine. So I guess it was a network issue. Thanks for the suggestions and help. Sorry I didn't think to check those more closely before.
