Hi everyone,

I found the following feature from qnap to make a lot of sense: https://www.qnap.com/solution/qtier-auto-tiering/en/

For example on my unraid I have my backups, my home directory and my plex media library.

If I could assign specific disks to each use it would improve the performances for the data that I use frequently like plex for example could be on a ssd array while my backups could be on a hdd.

 

Any thoughts and comments appreciated

    Just make a share for stuff you want on ssd and set to use cache only
