January 27, 20197 yr Hi, First of all, this might be a feature request, I've done some searching and unsure if its supported generally in Linux or not at this point. --- I have my unRaid and my main work station next to each other. Gaining speeds above gigabit are limited to 10 gigabit in theory (an expensive option) but given my cache is based on SATA-6 SSDs its limited to 6gbit/s anyway. My first thought is a point to point over USB3 (5gbit/s). Is a point-to-point USB3 transfer possible? I have come across a Linux patch that allows is to work apparently as a virtual network adapter https://lkml.org/lkml/2016/2/21/14 https://superuser.com/questions/795053/how-do-i-connect-two-computers-using-usb-3-0
