gareth_iowc 0 Posted January 30 Hi all, I'm trying to passthrough a usb controller but having some trouble. I have edited the system file and rebooted "append vfio-pci.ids=1b21:1242 initrd=/bzroot" After the reboot under vm config and pci i can see - ASMedia Technology Inc. ASM1142 USB 3.1 Host Controller | USB controller (05:00.0) But when i select this and click update i get - Internal error: unknown pci source type 'vendor' Any ideas? Could you tell me how you got this resolved exactly? I am also facing an issue with this controller. Quote Share this post Link to post
jbartlett 161 Posted June 6 I've gotten past it in the past by manually editing the XML file to remove the passed through devices at the end, or by recreating the VM, or by plugging the USB device back in and removing it via the GUI. Quote Share this post Link to post
