DDR4 incompatibility or broke ?

Featured Replies

Hi,

i did a test today with my DDR4 ram (2x8=16GB) because for some reason unraid crashed i was in a loop, and i got some errors (image below when were in pair) , then i thought to test them individually, and i got no errors, i test them in separate slot and i got no errors. Then i thought that might not work together in dual channel, but i see no setting for that. Any thoughts ?

Are you overclocking the RAM? 1 DIMM will handle faster speeds than both, Ryzen can easily have memory errors when not using max stock speeds.

no, i do not overclock, so what do you suggest ? to use only 1 DIMM ?

What speed is the RAM set to?

is set to Auto, but even if i set to 2400, i have same problem once in a while, system crashing, happened in windows OS as well, also  Bios is up to date

Dual channel is more likely to give errors, but it shouldn't at those speeds, replace one at a time with another or just replace both.

Maybe, it won't hurt to try, but not sure if I trust them.
