Help with removing a drive from Array

so i found the information on how to remove the drive that i do not longer want to be in my array, but on any manual or information i did find does not specify if i lose my data, like downloads and my media and dockers

    You'll lose any data on the disk you are removing, if any data still there, data on the remaining disks won't be touched, as long as you don't assign an old data disk as parity.
