SOLVED: Lose GitHub.com when upgrading past 6.4.1

Featured Replies

Apologies if this specifically has been covered, but unlike other posts my connectivity lose is continuous with every upgrade past 6.4.1.  "Fix Common Problems" says this is a DNS issue.  I use pfSense and was using AirVPN for DNS so I tried changing to a 'non-VPN' network with Comcast's, then Google's DNS servers with the same result.  I tried connecting to UNRAID without SSL/TLS, but no joy.  Included is my diagnostic scan.  I hate asking for help, but it appears I'm at the limit of my ability to puzzle this out.  Thanks in advance!

Wrong format for diagnostics

Due to the overwhelming interest and response to my issue (lack thereof actually), I concluded I was on my own.  Thankfully I prevailed!  As my issue appears an isolated one and my system is fairly complex (for me anyway) I won't detail the NUMEROUS iterations involved in the final solution.  Suffice to say the potential interactions of UNRAID, pfSense, OpenVPN, managed switches and wireless systems are substantial with respect to DNS.  The lag in DNS server updating further complicates successful resolution of issue(s).  Moral of story:  Believe in yourselves for you can do more than you imagine with perseverance!

Thanks just the same and good luck in all things!
