After unbalance moved file there are duplicates

Featured Replies

After I used unBALANCE to move all of my files from an unencrypted disk to a new encrypted disk(both are 1TB drive), there are still around 500gb of files still in the old disk and the new disk was already full (around 300mb space left), where did the extra 500gb of files came from? The move operation had already finished.

If, at any point, you cancelled an unBalance operation, it will leave the source files in place. If the data is important to you, you will need to verify that the 500GB is indeed properly copied and then delete the duplicates.

There are multiple ways of accomplishing that, both with dockers and command line.

The safest way to confirm would be to compare the destination with your pre-existing backups to make sure all the data is intact.
