Takumo
I'm looking to move my VM disks out of the main array and onto an SSD which is outside of the array. The contents of the VM disks would be backed up off-site via periodic snapshots and full-disk images. I'm looking to do this to reduce the amount of data being constantly written to my array by the VMs. I've tried having an SSD unassigned, but I can't seem to get it set up. Simplest method would be to add the SSD directly to fstab so that its mounted when libvirt is started. How would I ensure that changes to fstab are persisted between host restarts? Takumo
For those wondering, this can be achieved with the Unassigned Devices plugin: https://forums.unraid.net/topic/44104-unassigned-devices-managing-disk-drives-outside-of-the-unraid-array/ Quote Link to comment
