Unraid UI crashes when trying to add Docker Container

Featured Replies

Hello,

I am right now trying to setup my second unraid server and sync them with each other (via the linuxserver/resilio docker).
After some issues with the cache drive (I changed settings of some big share to Prefer instead of Yes) my server is running fine again.
Furthermore, I installed "CA Auto Turbo Write Mode" and "CA Mover Tuning" today when experiencing issues with the mover.

I realized that my resilio docker got unresponsive in the web gui, but on the other server, it still transferred data. So I waited until it finished, but the web UI was still not responding (even after docker and system restart).

After removing the docker via the commandline, I realized that I am unable to add ANY docker container via the Web UI to my server. I tried multiple restarts of the server and killing all other dockers. Furthermore it is also not possible to change settings when clicking on a container and adjusting values there.
The behavior is always the same, as soon as I press apply in the configuration menu, the webpage loads very long and then shows that the connection was reset. I tried to track down the process which should get started with the command line, but was unsuccessful.
I also was not able to find anything in the diagnosis zip, but I attached it anyways.
I also did not see that, the image would have been downloaded by docker, so the command doesn't even get executed!

When I add Docker containers via the command line, the image gets pulled and the docker gets set-up. I tried: https://hub.docker.com/r/tobilg/mini-webserver/

I hope you can help me getting my docker back up and running.

Kind regards,
Alex

You are loading quite a few plugins and it always possible that one of them is causing a problem.!   I would suggest that you try booting in Safe Mode (which stops all plugins loading) and see if the problem persists.   It could also be worth stopping the docker service; deleting the docker image file; and then restarting docker to get a new clean docker image file created (in case there is a problem with the current one).

It still happens in safemode.

I also deleted the docker.img file which removed all my docker containers I already had.

/mnt/user/system/docker/docker.img

But the webui is still crashing when adding a new docker container and no image gets downloaded.

In the mean time it seems, that the problem fixed itself.

I was just able to install a docker Update and could add a Container via the UI. The Main difference was, that I did it from my phone via WiFi, but I tried a different Browsers when the issue first arrised.
