stridemat
What version of the Nvidia drivers are included in the beta release for 6.9? Be good to resolve this bug sooner rather than later with Plex transcoding. https://forums.plex.tv/t/stuck-in-p-state-p0-after-transcode-finished-on-nvidia/387685/101 Link to comment

sittingmongoose
Beta 24 doesn't have Nvidia drivers right? So we are waiting to get a new Nvidia build for 24? I know the developers are super busy so this might take a while, im just wondering if 24 is planning on making it into the Nvidia releases. Link to comment

If you are too impatient to wait for the stable linuxserver build, you can do it yourself following the directions ich777 posted. Asking for beta builds when they are coming out back to back is a little presumptuous. 1 Link to comment

I just asked If they were planning on releasing an Nvidia build for the newest version because they skip a few of them. I wasn't being pushy or disrespectful. It was just a question. I understand it takes time and that the people that do it have other priorities in their life... Link to comment

So there must be something with my hardware and the nvidia driver, I just do not know where to begin on how to troubleshoot it. Any advice would be appreciated. Just to follow up here. Thanks to @ich777 I was able to figure out my issue, it was the pcie power. I put the card in a different machine and it worked fine, so I knew it wasn't the card. So I pulled the PSU out of another box and powered the card with that PSU while in my main server and it works! So I just ordered what I needed to make it a permanent fix. Thank you for those that helped me. 1 Link to comment

My point was to avoid the confusion that I've apparently created anyway. The point being: Currently, with the driver release available with the latest Linuxserver.io Unraid Nvidia plugin release - that driver version is not included. Link to comment

Typically I can manually restart the docker and it will boot fine, but it seems CA Backup/Restore might be causing some issue for me or it just makes the issue more prevalent. Link to comment
anthubb
Hello, Hoping I can find some help / guidance after reading through this thread and many others. I've installed a GTX 1050 Ti in my unRaid server. Version: 6.8.3 Nvidia Driver Version 440.59 However, I keep receiving the error that "No devices were found", despite seeing that unRaid seems to recognize the device. "watch nvidia-smi" output is also "No devices were found". Here is the output of lspci -k: 87:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation GP107 [GeForce GTX 1050 Ti] (rev a1) Subsystem: eVga.com. Corp. GP107 [GeForce GTX 1050 Ti] Kernel driver in use: nvidia Kernel modules: nvidia_drm, nvidia 87:00.1 Audio device: NVIDIA Corporation GP107GL High Definition Audio Controller (rev a1) Subsystem: eVga.com. Corp. GP107GL High Definition Audio Controller And also here are some of the logs that I've been noticing but I can't seem to determine the cause of them. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Link to comment
